Animal Kingdom!

Hi everyone!

Jenny here.
At the weekend it was my anniversary with my boyfriend so we went away on a trip.
We went to Chester Zoo because we both love animals.
Travelling for two and a half hours each way, it was a good drive.
We stayed in a hotel the night before and it was such a relaxing sleep.

When we arrived at the zoo, it was raining all day but it didn't ruin it for me.
I loved the zoo so much, there was 100's of different species of animals.

It worried me how many species are endangered though, it makes me worry quite a lot about the welfare of the different species.
Especially when they are so beautiful. I don't understand how people can hurt animals.

There was a part of the zoo where we went through the bat cave and it was so dark, but I could just see the bats!
I was so scared at first, but I got over it after a while.
Until I had to walk through such a narrow tunnel that was filled with small bats.
I closed my eyes all the way through, and apparently one of them skimmed across the top of my head.
I had no idea!

The family of elephants were so cute! The baby was very attached to his mother.
They were so majestic!
I also saw many other beautiful animals such as cheetahs, jaguars, butterflies and flamingos!

There are plenty of pictures I want to show you, but they'll be in the next blog post!
However, I want to share this picture of a jaguar!!!
I was up so close to it, and it looked so peaceful!

Chester Zoo is one of my favourite places to visit and I can't wait to go again!
I have withdrawal symptoms >.<

MV Filming, The Future Departure!

Hi everyone!

Today I did some more filming of my Crystal Rose collaboration.
This time around I think I did a lot better, so I used the shots from today's shooting!
Hopefully, this week I can edit the other shots and have it released.

It will be announced on the Crystal Rose page when it will be uploaded.
I am very excited for you guys to see it!
I feel like I've improved with my facial expression in front of the camera.
Let me know what you think?

Now tonight I am watching The Future Departure by C-ute!
They are an idol group I have a lot of respect for.
They are talented in personality, singing and dancing!
Each performance they give it their all and make me want to perform like them!
Airi Suzuki is my favourite member, I wish to sing as well as her one day.
I'm really enjoying watching this concert so far!

Thanks for reading!~~~

Can't sleep!

Hi everyone!

I'm writing my blog post on my phone tonight in bed.
I was meant to be asleep 2 hours ago now I'm wide awake, I can't sleep unless its silent.
But I keep hearing noise and it doesn't help me go to sleep.

Today I went to my job and I had to go outside this morning.
But it was raining so heavy that when I returned I was soaked.
It made me worry whether I'd catch a cold so I got a hot bath, but sadly the hot water ran out so I didn't get to relax.
I only washed my hair.
I have work again tomorrow but I'm not there as long...phew!
I really need to catch up on sleep!!

Sorry for the short blog post.
I better sleep...

Thanks for reading!!

MV Shooting, Bonfire Night!

Hi everyone!!

This afternoon I recorded my shots for my Morning Musume collaboration.

I am collaborating with Crystal Rose members Chibi Enma and Juju!
I've heard the final result of the song and I am excited for you to hear it.
It's a lot of fun collaborating with new members.

I feel like I've improved singing in front of the camera.
I really felt the emotion of the song and I was so happy throughout.

Here is a picture of me whilst filming.

I've been practicing my new song for a while and I plan on filming the PV next month!
I can guarantee that the song will be recorded and the PV will be filmed through December, for a January release.
This is the plan I have so far for the song, so please do keep coming back to this blog for more updates.

Today is also Bonfire Night!
The night where Guy Fawkes planned to blow up Parliament.
The history of England is very interesting and fun to learn about.

I'm heading off to a friends house for a bonfire tonight!
I hope you have a fantastic Bonfire Night too!

Upcoming Music...!

Hi everyone!
Jenny here.

Today I have been rehearsing my singing for some new music!
I have been working on this new track for a while and I am very excited to show it to you guys when it is done.
This song is a bit more personal to me than J-E-N-N-Y because the lyrics are based on real things in my life. It makes me sound a lot more serious than the last single, but I want to show this side of me.

I hope you guys like this side of me.
I wrote the lyrics all by myself, and I worked with an amazing producer that created amazing music for this.
I won't be showing any previews on the track until it is done and I am confident that it is ready for a release.

I cannot announce a brief time when it will be ready, but I hope to have the song learned very soon so I can record it!
Then I can start putting together ideas for a new music video.

I am very excited for this new project.
It is my solo project so it is very scary, but at the same time I get to explore myself as a singer.

In the meantime though I am planning a collaboration with two Crystal Rose members, JuJu and Chibi Enma!
We all wanted to sing together, and our cover is of a Morning Musume '15 song.
I will be filming my part for the music video next week!
I am so excited to be doing something within Crystal Rose.

I've missed working with the members.

It means a lot that people support me with my ambitions whether it's with Crystal Rose or by myself as a singer.
I feel like I have accomplished a lot, and I really appreciate you reading my blog too!
Do you like the new layout?
It matches my member color!

Thank you again for reading, and I am off to sleep for the night now!
Goodnight!

ScreamFactory, Net-Idol Awards!!

Hi Jenny here!!

Last night was the last night of ScreamFactory.

It is a Halloween event I perform in every year, I always seem to perform as a zombie or a clown and I get to scare so many people!
The weather was good every night so it was never too cold.

This has been the fourth year I have been doing this event.
And every time it just gets better and better.
I want to make so many memories of this event for more years to come.

Next year I will work even harder to make people scream and run!
So you better watch out for me!

On my first night on the event, I noticed a photographer for a local newspaper came through the event and took pictures of us all.
Then the next day I appeared in the newspaper, it was so surreal!
I had friends and family congratulate me on being featured and how scary I looked.
I'm glad I did a great job, I need a job on The Walking Dead!

I was in the newspaper but there was also an article online!
Check it out!
ScreamFactory article!

The other actors and the people that I work with have been so amazing and welcoming!
There has been so much work put into this by everyone and I'd like to thank them.

The event wouldn't be as successful without all of the hard work!
I will be very happy to return again next year!

There was also a net-idol awards online and I was notified by Juju my kouhai member of Crystal Rose.
I checked it out and I had won the category of Best Performer Overall.
When I read it, I had to read it again to make sure it was correct and yes my name was there!
Thank you so much!
Net-Idol Awards
It makes me want to work harder as member of Crystal Rose and also as a soloist net-idol!

I will be releasing more music next year so please look out for that, and in the meantime please check out my youtube channel JennyInTokyo for new singing covers and idol videos!

Thanks for reading,
Jenny

Sayonara 2014, Hashimashi 2015!!

Hello everyone! Jenny here!

It is now 2015? I still can't believe it. 2014 has been a fantastic year and it has just passed by so quickly. I had such a fun year so this blog post is dedicated to all of the things I did in 2014!!

I celebrated New Year's Eve with my roommates from university and we all decided to go into town into one of the clubs. I had such a good time and everyone we saw were all so lovely and friendly. I feel like the air changes when it comes to New Year and everyone is suddenly friendly.
I wish this kind of thing happened all the time! But I had a great night and I hope everyone else did too!

A lot of great things happened in 2014! In January it was my 20th birthday and even though only a small number of friends attended I still had a great night with them all and I hope we can continue to be friends for many years to come. A lot of them were people I met at university but when we all head home when we graduate I hope we still keep in contact.

I joined the music society at university and met some cool new people who had the same passion and tastes in music as I did. I then collaborated with a friend of mine and we both performed together for the first time and despite some small hiccups we got great feedback. I hope to continue performing with him throughout next year and play at other venues too. I think with music I have progressed a lot with my confidence and my singing. I also released my first solo song J-E-N-N-Y and it made me want to continue doing my own music so I hope I get to do it again this year! I really want to keep doing original music by myself and also with KRP28.

With KRP28 its been a fun journey! We've become stronger as a group I think and we really know what we want to do for next year. I know we'll be releasing new music this year and with the addition of the 2nd generation I am excited to be singing with new people and also making new friends. I also auditioned and joined Sakura Station and became a member of the duo Double S! I am so excited to be expanding into new projects so please wish me luck with my music endeavors.

With my YouTube channel I have come a long way and got to over 300 subscribers. It's not a large number to some people but just to know that over 300 people like to see my singing videos and vlogs make me so happy!! I really want to keep working hard on the channel. I also want to collaborate with more dubbers because as much as I love singing solo covers its extra fun singing with other people who enjoy it as much as you do!

Last summer I attended my first cosplay convention and I loved the event so much I plan on going there again this spring or summer. They're having two events this year so I hope to attend one of the events. And I want to get the courage to sign up for the talent contest and perform in front of other cosplayers. I dressed in a seifuku last year but this year I really want to do a cosplay! I really want to cosplay Ayumi or Tohko from Corpse Party!

I also have aspirations in terms of travelling this year. Right now I am saving up for a place to live after I leave university. I love the independence to living by myself so I really want to have my own place to call my own. However, I also want to go to Japan next summer so I need to save up money for that too. I am torn between what I want to do but I don't know if I'll have another opportunity to go to Japan after this year. After I leave university this year I want to take a year out to go travelling and Japan is the main place I want to go. Then after a year I then want to start training to be a teacher because I really want to become a Drama teacher and I want to do it hand in hand with acting as well.

This year I will be graduating from university as much as I am excited to be going through this last year, I also don't want it to end. I won't miss the strenuous essays of course, but I'm going to miss performing every week and taking part in other people's projects. I'm excited for my Final Year Project in which I will be running my own theatre show like its a professional show. It's a scary thing to do but at the same time I am excited because I want to pursue acting on the stage. I'm doing an original play based on Henry VIII so I hope a lot of people enjoy the show and also learn a lot too!

There's a lot of scary and exciting things coming my way! But I want to ride them like a rollercoaster and enjoy the ups and downs as they come. I want to capture as many memories in 2015 as I did in 2014. Last year was really a good year for me and I had so many good memories that they outshone the bad and I hope the same happens for 2015!

I hope everything you wish for comes true this year. Just keep smiling. And true happiness will come to you!! ;D

Thank you so much for reading! Happy New Year!
Love Jenny
