Yorkshire Cosplay Con! ヽ(*^▽^*)ノ

Hi
Jenny here!
(*≧∪≦)

Yesterday I attended Yorkshire Cosplay Con at Doncaster. It was my first cosplay convention I've attended and I went on my own so I was a little anxious travelling on my own!
It was such a great event and there were so many friendly people there. I didn't dress up or cosplay as a character myself but I did wear my blue seifuku from my J-E-N-N-Y music video (⌒▽⌒)
There were different competitions and I watched the talent competition and I enjoyed it so much. All of the contestants were very talented and a joy to watch. I'd love to enter the talent contest myself next year! Whether to sing or dance yet I'm not too sure...I have plenty of time to think! XD
I did have have my hair down but then I had to tie it up later on because of the rain and then the humidity of the venue then made my hair go wierd :/ The hairband I'm wearing is one I bought on the day. I can't remember the stall which I bought it from sadly...

When I arrived at the venue I came across this awesome Dalek! They were taller than me!

I arrived late to the convention but I'm happy I didn't miss the Star Wars show! There were two fights and even though they were very simple I still enjoyed it. And I do have to say the soldiers look fantastic!

I came across the lovely little display when I walked through one of the gaming rooms. I think people could have a go at sitting on the Storm Trooper but my shyness got the best of me and sadly I didn't give it a go :(

Strangely, seeing R2D2 was one of my highlights of the convention! I fell in love with this little cutie in the films so I loved seeing this model walk around and beep like the real thing XD

And you can't forget Yoda! He is a cool dood! XD

At the end of the convention I then went to see Kelsey Ellison (KimonoTime) perform an half an hour show! There as a lot of energy throughout and I was very impressed and sang along all the way through, Pom Pom was a great song to end the set with! I have it stuck i my head now!

I also got to meet her just before her performance at her booth.
At first, I was very shy but as soon I managed to squeak out a "HI!" I then managed to talk to her like a normal person.
She really is such a lovely, down to earth person so I'd love to meet here again
(*^▽^)/★*☆♪

I was so happy to have attended the event despite the long journey there and back!
It took me two buses and two trains to arrive at Doncaster but I'm up for doing it again for next year!
I definitely plan on cosplaying at the event next year too!

Thank you for reading!
Love Jenny!!

PS You can still check out my music video here for J-E-N-N-Y! I also plan on making another music video later this year for another original song :)
