Yesterday I had to go to work so I had a very early morning to wake up!
The weather was so bright and sunny so it made me happy I could work in such lovely weather. But I still took my coat with me because it's still quite cold outside. (；一_一)

When I arrived off the bus to walk to work I still had a little time to get myself some lunch!
I didn't have an awful lot of time to get a large dinner so instead, I had something small.

I felt like such a child when I ordered it from the till. Luckily, the cashier didn't laugh or judge me! (^◇^;)

It tasted so good. Everything looks so small, so I felt like such a little child as I ate it alone!
There were a lot of other little kids at McDonalds so I felt like if I talked younger I could fit in with them. ㌆㌆㌆㌆｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡㌆㌆㌆㌆ However, at nineteen years old I am too old to be doing that kind of thing!
When I nearly finished my food I turn turned around to some people singing "Happy Birthday!"
Some parents had taken their daughter out to McDonalds to lunch for her birthday and gave her a cake with candles. It was such a cute sight and made me smile!
There were a lot of other little kids at McDonalds so I felt like if I talked younger I could fit in with them. ㌆㌆㌆㌆｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡㌆㌆㌆㌆ However, at nineteen years old I am too old to be doing that kind of thing!

I couldn't even feel my toes at the end of work ꒰●꒡ ̫ ꒡●꒱
That evening, I was planning on going to a show with some friends at university because they were showing it for free.
I had some time to spend after work and before meeting my friends so I returned back to McDonalds for a hot chocolate. I was going to go to Starbucks but it was closing as I arrived! (っ｀Д´)
I will make it next time, I have been craving for a Starbucks for so long!
What kind of drink do you suggest I try? I want to try something new!

The hot chocolate was one of the best ones I have had in a long time! It was so hot and the warm bubbles were delicious! I definitely recommend it. (*≧m≦*) Even after I finished my hot chocolate I was still sat there for a long time before I had to meet my friends.
So I used McDonaldss free wi-fi on my phone and checked my updates!

I've also decided I'm going to start collecting the hot chocolate stickers so I get a free one soon!
I might make hot chocolate visits my after work routine! ^_^ It'll keep me warm in this winter weather!

It was a performance but it was based on research on social science, and it was very interesting.
The research was based on Irish family history, and because I have Irish roots it was very interesting to watch. ♫꒰･◡･๑꒱ It was a one man show and he played three sets of generations of a family, and told stories of their lives and it was really touching! The play was Called Under Us All and the stories were based on real people.

The actor played the separate characters so well and I even got to speak to him after the show.
He was such a lovely man and asked me and my friends if we would keep a look out for his future works and I said YES! ˚✧₊⁎( ˘ω˘ )⁎⁺˳✧༚ I'm always excited to see new shows!
Afterwards we then went to visit my university's bar and I caught up with a lot of my classmates and older students from third year. They were all so lovely and I can't wait to hang with them again! ﾟ♪+.゜+*･(*>∀<*)ﾟ☆+｡+ﾟ･.+ﾟ♪ However, unfortunately I couldn't stay long because I was so tired from work and had to catch my last bus home!

Ah, a hot chocolate sounds really good right now! Unfortunately, my McDonalds seems to be charging the equivalent of £5 for a small, so there's no way that's happening any time soon, haha! I might just use chocolate syrup and make my own, though I'm sure it won't be as good.
ReplyDeleteI also know the nostalgia of happy meals~ I feel like they're actually a good way to have McDonalds and not over eat, haha. It really does make you feel like a kid again when you order them; now I'm craving them, too (;u;)
We don't get sizes of hot chocolate here at the McDonalds in England. And £5 is a lot for a hot chocolate in my opinion! D: I paid about £2.80 for mine which I thought it was a good price cause it did taste so good!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I mean I love to eat at McDonalds but I never like to order a large cause I get full quite easy, so sometimes a Happy Meal is all I need! Aww I'm craving now too, no I'm craving a really nice McFlurry! But the weather is so cold here right now so maybe it's not the best move! ;_;
